JEE Main is an engineering entrance test conducted by CBSE. JEE Main consists of two examinations. Paper I is for the admission to undergraduate programs (B.E/B.Tech) in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs. Paper II is an architecture entrance exam for B.Arch./B.Planning in these institutes. The computer-based test of JEE Main paper 1 will be held on April 15 and 16, 2018. The JEE Main 2018 exam will be conducted on 8th of April 2018 in the offline pen-paper mode. JEE Main 2018 application form will be released by CBSE from 1st december 2017.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2018

Nationality required for JEE Main 2018 Indian/OCI/PIO/ Foreign candidates can appear for the exam
Age limit for JEE Main 2018 1. Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1993 are eligible for JEE Main 2018.
2. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PwD candidates who are born on or after October 01, 1988 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2018.
Upper age-limit for JEE Main 2018 1.Unreserved Category: 25 years
2. Reserved Category: 30 years
Number of subjects required in 10+2 for appearing in JEE Main 2018 Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12/qualifying examination The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted for JEE Main 2018.
JEE Main Number of attempts Candidates can attempt JEE Main for maximum three times.
